Now I’m not competitive – not at all, but when a cameraman decides he can do a better job in front of the camera than me, I get a little protective.
Sorry Wilders, short one this week. I’m about to head out and shoot a ghost story at the Adelaide Gaol! Will tell you all about it next week!
It’s been extremely busy on the Totally Wild front. I’ve been playing cricket, feeding giraffes and visiting some very cute Cotton Top Tamarinds (little monkeys). But I think the focus of this blog should be the latest addition to the Totally Wild reporting team – Mr Chris Campey!
Mr Campey is a regular on the show, though he spends most of his time behind the camera – and I have to say, he shoots some excellent pictures.
So when he got called up to present the HPV Super Series in Adelaide things got a little out of hand. Don’t get me wrong, it was a great day and he did well, but Chris now believes he has the skills to present ALL THE TIME!!!
Now I’m not competitive – not at all, but when a cameraman decides he can do a better job in front of the camera than me, I get a little protective.
So, here’s what’s going to happen. When you see the story on Totally Wild at 7.30am on Thursday 17th of September I need all my Wild brothers and sisters to write in and give Campster either a thumbs up or a thumbs down. If he can pull more upward pointing thumbs then I will happily give him one of my stories to present. Buuuuut, if he gets more downward pointing thumbs Mr Campey will have to read out a letter of apology the next time Tess and I do links. Sound fair?
That’s about it from me. I’m off to the Gaol to find some ghosts!
Stay Wild! Col
