Glenn Whittle
Glenn Whittle is a AAA rated PGA Member and is regarded as one of Australia’s leading golf coaches who specializes in teaching the short game.
Glenn has held a number of prominent coaching positions in the golf industry in Australia since 1993 including Head Coach of the Jack Newton Junior Golf Foundation (5 years) , Manager of National Coaching Programs for the PGA of Australia (6 years) and currently as the Head Coach of The NSW Institute of Sport, Golf Program (3 years to date).
Some of Glenn’s coaching credentials and achievements are outlined below:
- 2008 NSW PGA Teacher of the Year
- Has given over 10,000 golf lessons
- Presented at three National PGA Coaching Summits
- Member, National High Performance Advisory Group (Golf Australia)
- Wrote the PGA’s national trainee technical manual
- Written many instructional articles for Golf Australia and Inside Golf
- Coach to over 25 elite amateurs, trainee professionals, college golfers and tour players who live in Australia and overseas
- Attended the Pelz Short game school in New York in 2007
- Developed a number of instructional DVD’s namely “Skills and Drills for junior golfers”
