Sue Pieters-Hawke
Hazel Hawke is one of our most loved and respected Australians. As the wife of a prime minister she brought a down-to-earth warmth to Canberra that influenced everyone she came into contact with. Public love and support for Hazel reached a new peak eight years ago when she publicly announced she'd been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease.
Hazel and Bob Hawke’s eldest daughter, Sue Pieters-Hawke, joins us to discuss the intimatel biography she has written in which she candidly explores Hazel's life as she navigated personal challenges and profound social changes, and celebrates her value as a mother, wife, role model and tireless worker for the rights and welfare of others.
Hazel: My Mother’s Story, Pan Macmillan, RRP: $49.95
Tracey Withers
With summer well and truly here, everyone is reaching for the fake tan. However, unless you know the right way to apply it, getting a fake tan to look natural can be pretty tricky. Lucky for us, Grazia Beauty Editor Tracey Withers knows everything there is so know about tanning and the self-confessed tanthusiast shares her secrets with us!
The Tan Commandments!
1. Prep – it’s all in the pre-exfoliation and priming
2. Pay attention to details – no slapping it on in the dark or with how-hard-can-it be overconfidence! It takes technique.
3. Shoot for a convincing colour
4. Maintain it every day. Show it the love – remember it DOES NOT mean you’re sun protected, so you still need your SPF force field every day!
5. Know when to let go and start again.

After retiring from swimming in 2001, Sam Riley began to focus on safety programs for kids around water, and after joining forces with Royal Life Savings Keep Watch initiative, Sam continues her mission to keep kids safe in summer!
