Genelle Guzman-McMillan
After spending 27 hours trapped under what was the World Trade Centre, Genelle Guzman-McMillan was the last survivor pulled from the rubble. She had been at work on the 64th floor of the North tower when the first plane struck. She is in Australia for the release of her book, Angel in the Rubble, in which she shares what happened, gives thanks to the mysterious person named Paul who saved her and was never seen again, and tells of the change that the experience has created for her.
Angel in the Rubble, Allen & Unwin, RRP: $24.99

Peter Yeo
Former AFL footballer Peter Yeo became a quadriplegic when he slipped running for his phone. He’s been campaigning for the National Disability Insurance Scheme to be implemented for a long time, organizing DisabiliTEA events to raise awareness and encourage people to lobby the government. He joins us today to tell us what life is like for himself and other people with disabilities and explain why even though there has been some progress on the NDIS, it is still atrociously under funded by the government.
Email your local Federal MP and tell them you want faster action for people with disabilities. Visit the Every Australian Counts website: www.everyaustraliancounts.com.au/ for further info on supporting the campaign.
Sally-Anne McCormack
A lot of people believe the gap between kids and their parents is massive in the world of technology, but new research has shown that the gap is becoming a lot smaller, and sometimes gone completely! Child psychologist Sally-Anne sheds some light on the way parents are using technology.
Lindy & Michael Klim
It’s been a busy couple of months for champion swimmer Michael Klim and his wife Lindy. Alongside Michael announcing his return to professional swimming, the Klims have welcomed their third child into the world, a beautiful baby girl. Like all new mums, Lindy was faced with a plethora of new information on what to do for her new baby’s health. She and Michael join us today to explain one of the latest options available to new parents, private cord blood banking.
Jeff Kennett
Former Premier of Victoria, The Honourable Jeff Kennett is also the Chairman of Beyond Blue (the national depression initiative), President of the Hawthorn Football Club, a board member of a number of other companies as well as the patron of several community organisations. It’s a busy life, especially when you consider that Mr Kennett is 63 years old and approaching ‘Retirement Age’. But if you thought that ageing would see Mr Kennett kicking up his heels and taking it easy, you’re sorely mistaken. He says retirement equates to death and that he’ll never retire. He joins us today to explain why.

Justin Melvey
Australian actor Justin Melvey went from Summer Bay to working on NBC’s number one daytime drama Days of Our Lives. But the bachelor, who had only just gained American citizenship and bought a home in the Hollywood Hills, says he missed the sun, sand and surf of Bondi Beach where he grew up. Back in Australia to be closer to family and friends, Justin joins on The Circle couch to reflect on his Hollywood life.
Dylan Lewis
It’s been a quiet revolution...the evolution of a Dad’s revolution. Modern fathers are a bunch of nappy changing, dish washing, laundry folders who will vacuum a house without needing a hint. Dylan Lewis is one such modern dad and today he shares what it entails, as well as giving us a look at a Stay at Home Dads’ Group which he joined for their weekly get-together.
Matt Wilkinson Cooking Update
Matt continues today’s yummy dishes, Sardines on Toast with Spiced Tomatoes and a Roast Pumpkin Salad with a delicious pinenut and currant dressing.
Emily Power
Fashion-savvy consumers are embracing ethically-produced clothing. We sent our fashion expert Emily Power to check out the gorgeous clothes at Meeka Kaan, one label that brings traditional village handicrafts to Australia. Emily joins us on the couch to tell us more about ethical and eco fashion.
