The month-long suspension of live cattle exports to Indonesia was lifted last week. The Government imposed the suspension in live trade after shocking footage of animals being mistreated was aired on ABC’s Four Corners. The suspension brought the livestock industry to its knees, causing financial pain to cattle producers and leaving thousands of animals stranded in stock yards. Lyn White is the animal activist whose camera captured the images of cruelty in Indonesian abattoirs and she joins us to today to discuss the topic further.
