Former Olympian Matt Welsh tells us all about the Weetbix Kids TRYathlon Series – the worlds’ largest triathlon series for kids.
More than 30,000 kids will have participated in the series by the time the final event is held and because it’s all about giving it a go and getting moving, no placings or times are kept and every child receives a medal when they cross the finish line from famous Australian athletes, like Matt Welsh.

Cupcakes for a Cure
The Oncology Children's Foundation (OCF) is an Australian charity dedicated to finding cures for childhood cancers with the lowest survival rates, such as Neuroblastoma and Brain Tumours. On International Childhood Cancer Day, Tuesday 15 February, schools across Australia will be holding cupcake stalls where cupcakes made by kids (and parents) will be sold for a gold coin donation to OCF.

Lisa discovered her gift for communicating with the dead at the tender age of four. The British-born medium, who often hears messages as a “constant drone”, says she has spoken to the ghosts of Bob Hope, Princess Diana, Marilyn Monroe, Ray Charles and Natalie Wood. Her national Australian tour kicks off in Melbourne on Friday 18 February before heading to Tasmania, South Australia, Western Australia, Queensland and New South Wales.
