Smoky Eyes for Daytime:
To create a warm chocolate toned smoky eye that is achievable and flattering for many different skin types:
• Make sure you start with a Base. This will make the eyeshadow colour more intense and will stop creasing. Apply onto the lid under the eyeshadow.
• Warm Colours are flattering at this time of year. You can create a beautiful smoky eye with warm nutty tones of eyeshadows – and it’s much softer for Day time than the Charcoals.
• Shade the eyes darker on the inner and outer corners of the eyes, and then place a lighter shimmery eyeshadow on the centre of the eyelid for eye make-up that “pops” – this will also make your lashes look longer.
• To keep your eyes looking bright and wide open – use a flesh-tone shade of eyeliner onto the water line of the eyes. This will look much more natural than a white eyeliner.
• Save your under eye concealer until after your make-up is finished – in that way you can clean up any fall out of Eyeshadow quickly and easily without caking
• When creating a smoky eye, keep the rest of your Make-up soft and creamy to avoid looking heavy and over done. Cream blushes and sheer lip glosses look best.
Take your day make-up to night time – quickly and easily!
• Eye kohl Pencils are amazing to transform your make-up quickly – they are soft enough to blend right over the top of your eye make-up to make it more intense – without any fall out!
• Lashes Lashes Lashes! No red-carpet make-up is complete without them! With the application of lashes, your make-up is instantly taken to the next level and they are surprisingly easy to apply!
• Lashes are easier to apply in smaller pieces. Cut your full strip lash in half, and stick them to the outer edges of your eyes for a more natural look to false eyelashes.
