Ingredients

Serves 4-6


¾ cup hoisin sauce
¼ cup Spring onions, sliced on the diagonal
3 tbsp soy sauce
4 tbsp sesame seeds, toasted, half reserved for serving
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 tsp ginger, grated
8 turkey chops
2 bunches baby bok choy, cut in half lengthwise and washed well

 

Method


In a sealable plastic bag, combine hoisin sauce, onions, soy sauce, sesame seeds, garlic and ginger. Remove ? cup, add turkey chops and refrigerate overnight if possible, turning occasionally to marinate evenly.

Heat a grill or fry pan and cook chops for 5-8 minutes depending on your preference. Brush each side with extra marinade as they are grilling.

Arrange the bok choy in a steamer or microwave dish and cook until just tender.

Put 2-3 pieces of bok choy on each serving plate and top with 2 turkey chops. Sprinkle with reserved sesame seeds and serve immediately. You could also serve with rice or salad or potatoes if you prefer.
