Michael Kirby
When Michael Kirby retired from the High Court of Australia in 2009 he was Australia's longest serving judge. In addition to his judicial duties, he has served on three university governing bodies, been elected Chancellor of Macquarie University in Sydney, as well as on many national and international bodies. But for all his public work, little has been known about the great man’s private life...until now. In his autobiography, Michael opens up as never before, delving into his childhood, being gay, his forty-two year relationship with Johan van Vloten, religious beliefs and much more. Michael joins us to share some of his stories.

Marina Vit
Marina Vit is the CEO of Youngcare – an organization that advocates for young people who need care. Their motto is “young people deserve to live young lives” regardless of their care needs. Right now there are 6,500 young Australians with high care needs living in aged care, simply because there are very limited alternatives. A further 700,000 young people are being cared for at home by family and friends, often with limited support.
Marina joins us to explain the ins and outs of the issue, and we’ll hear the stories of Mandy, who cares for her two terminally ill sons, and Caz, who has cerebral palsy and currently lives in a retirement village.
Visit www.youngcare.com.au where you can help create change in the way we care for young Australians with full-time care needs by making a donation.
Dylan Lewis: Manchoir
The term choir can conjure up images of well behaved young boys and girls in clean matching outfits singing in high pitched voices but not anymore! Choirs have gone through a rock ‘n’ roll phase. Take Manchoir for example, a group of dudes who may or may not shave, definitely drink beer and sing everything from Stevie Wonder to Gotye. Our very own Dylan Lewis started Manchoir when he got his buddies to sing at his wedding and nine years later, they are still going strong. Dylan joins us on the couch to explain why there is so much power in singing.
Anthony Callea Performance
Singing sensation Anthony Callea is back after his musical hiatus with a new sound and a new single, OH OH OH OH. Today he performs it for us live in the studio.
