Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs is an internationally acclaimed exhibition which was at Melbourne Museum recently, marking the first time King Tutankhamun’s treasures have ever visited Australia. More than 130 artefacts were on view, including 50 from the tomb of Tutankhamun, and an additional 80 from the tombs and temples of his ancestors and contemporaries. Aleisha McCormack meets with Curator David Silverman for an insightful tour of Tutankhamun’s treasures.
