The colourful entrepreneur with an extraordinary life story, Geoffrey Edelsten!
Around the Circle
We catch up with our hosts’ latest news and exploits.
Geoffrey Edelsten
Business entrepreneur and innovator, celebrity and medico, Professor Geoffrey Edelsten has lived anything but a quiet life.
His ground-breaking medical clinics introduced bulk-billing and 24-hour services – which were copied all over the world. Now, at 69, he has sold his Allied Medical Group for a reported $100 million and bought a Dominican Republic resort and casino, a share in his wife Brynne's favourite Nurielle fashion label, a private jet and a slice of two film productions. But it hasn’t always been an easy road; Geoffrey still fights to clear his name after spending a year in jail for bribing a hit man. He reveals all in his new biography, Enigma, and today he joins us on he couch to share the story of his extraordinary life.
Enigma, New Holland, RRP: $32.95

Rachael Rollo
One trend to emerge over the last few years is the birth and growth of mums in business, otherwise known as mumpreneurs. Where kids and parenting once meant giving up work for women (and some men), it has now opened up a world of opportunities creating a trend of working mums. Rachael Rollo met with ten inspiring mums, and this morning we’ll see the last story of the series, about a couple of mums who work with their families on their home grown businesses; Lisa, Sally and Kay from Olives Tree and Olivia and Camilla Tipler from Mozi.

Karen Egan
Forget nice nails, shaved legs and getting your roots done, when you’ve got small children it can be difficult to get private loo time, let alone space for personal grooming. So when one of our viewers, time poor mum of three, Karen Egan, emailed us saying she didn’t get time to do her hair, we thought we’d give her a boost with a new hairdo, thanks to our friends at L’Oreal.

Join the fight against Ovarian Cancer.
Ovarian cancer is one of the deadliest forms of cancer as, unlike most other cancers, there is no early detection test. One woman loses her life every 10 hours from this terrible disease.
Since 2009, L’Oréal Paris continues to work together with the OCRF to increase awareness of and funding for research into an early detection program for ovarian cancer. This year, in support of the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation, L’Oréal Paris has put together a collection of limited edition L’Oréal Paris ‘Silver Ribbon’ Gift Packs available exclusively from any Priceline store in November.
The Gift Pack features a compilation of silver-inspired L’Oréal Paris products including Lash Architect 4D Mascara, NutriShine by Colour Riche Lipcolour and Infallible Eyeshadow. Valued at RRP $68.85, it is priced at just RRP $39.00
L’Oréal Paris is donating $100,000 to ovarian cancer research this year… and implores all Australians to offer their support. Visit the OCRF website or call 1300 OVARIAN to learn more and donate.
