Chrissie Swan
Former copywriter and new mum, Chrissie Swan was Australia's first female Big Brother runner-up, impressing the nation with her intelligence, wit, integrity and intriguing sense of humour.
"I couldn't think of a better way to spend my mornings than chatting over coffee with 3 wonderful women and the viewers of The Circle. Yumi, Gorgi and Denise are amazing women with stories to tell, and I for one look forward to hearing them. I feel so fortunate I have to pinch myself!"
Clearly the only person in the country who actually enjoys getting out of bed before dawn, she took up the opportunity to become a breakfast radio announcer on the Sunshine Coast in 2003. She was nominated for a Best Newcomer On-Air ACRA (Australian Commercial Radio Awards) the following year and won the Best On-Air Team ACRA in 2005.
Chrissie has spent the last two years at Vega 91.5 in Melbourne where she shared the speakers with Dicko and Dave O’Neil for breakfast, which usually involved a whole lot of laughing and hot coffee from a mayonnaise jar (because it fits in the car cup-holder so much better... try it).
A self-confessed pop trivia tragic (she once won $500 for singing every verse of The Love Boat from memory) Chrissie lists good coffee, ebay, her man ‘ The Chippie’ and her one year old son Leo as her life's passions. She is loving life in the ‘burbs’ and spends her weekends at Bunnings just like everyone else.
