4 by 2 timbers roughly 6 metres in total
Fence pailings, 120mm wide by 1.5 metres length

No More Gaps
To Make
Base
Cut 2 lengths on 4 by 2 at 1.5m long for sides.
Cut another 3 at 500mm for ends and 1 for centre support.
Cut 5 palings at 1.5m long also and nail to 4 by 2 base.
Sides
Cut four 4 by 2 at 500mm high
Cut 5 palings at 1 metre length and screw one 4 by 2 to each end. Repeat process for other side.
Use 2 cut blocks of 4 by 2 and screw to base so you have solid anchor to attach sides.
Once you have attached sides use judgement to cut correct lengths of timber to finish back and front.
Roof
For the roof, have fun with it. Build roof at least 100mm longer on each side than dog kennel.
Make a Japanese type theme or something different to the standard. Pitch roof at a 45 degree angle for water run off. Really easy!
Finally
Fill in all gaps with No More Gaps. Allow 12 hours to dry and apply paint to protect your Hollywood hound from the weather.
Make sure you use outdoor paint.
Involve the kids if possible... they will love it, and remember, take your time and have fun! Rome wasn't built in a day but your Hollywood kennel can be.
