Skill Level: Beginner

Time to Make: 15 - 20 minutes

Materials

A4 decorative paper
A4 plain paper
Adhesive tape roller
Scissors or paper trimmer
Accessories of your choice such as ribbons, bows, buckles or paper fasteners

Step One

Print invitation or acceptance card wording onto decorative paper of your choice (here we have used Cristina Re Designer Paper in French Lace Black) and trim to A6 size 148.5 x 105 mm. Set aside the remaining paper for a matching Thank You card.

Step Two

Cut two strips of coordinating decorative paper, both measuring 43mm x 105mm and two lengths of ribbon, each 145mm long.

Step Three

Using an adhesive tape roller, attach one strip of decorative paper to the left hand side of the invitation. Repeat for the acceptance card.

Step Four

Thread a silver buckle onto one length of ribbon and attach to the invitation with adhesive tape, tucking the ends of the ribbon around the back of the invitation for a neat finish. Repeat for the acceptance card. For a cute alternative, try using an adhesive bow in place of the buckle.

Step Five

Using the remaining paper, which should measure 148.5mm x 210mm, simply fold in half to create an A6 card. Print the words "Thank You" onto plain paper, trim and attach to the centre of the card with adhesive tape. For a decorative finish, attach an adhesive bow or paper flower and jewel fastener. You may wish to add a layer of card for extra strength.
