The O.C. details the lives of young adults, their families, relationships and growing up in the affluent Orange County.

The characters of The OC are trying to move on from the death of the beloved Marissa Cooper. Kirsten and Sandy struggle to keep Ryan motivated on his future as he fights the forces that threaten to pull him back into his old life and habits. Summer attends Brown University in Rhode Island and becomes interested in rights and activism. Seth remains in Orange Country and works in the local comic book store. There is chemistry and perhaps love between Ryan and Taylor.

Background of the OC

The O.C. or Orange County is an idyllic paradise, an affluent, harbour-front community in California where everything and everyone appears to be picture perfect.

But beneath the surface is a world of shifting loyalties and identities, of kids living secret lives hidden from their parents, and of parents living secret lives hidden from their children.

The O.C. portrays the story of the Cohens, Coopers, and Nichol families, and Ryan Atwood, a troubled teen from the wrong side of the tracks, who is thrust into this world, and who will forever change the lives of the residents of The O.C.

The program is a blend of comedy, drama and tongue in cheek humor.
