Jake Green

Jake Green is Jericho's prodigal son. After the attacks, Jake finds himself torn between his desire to run from his troubled past and his loyalty to a town that desperately needs him in this time of crisis. Skeet Ulrich's television credits include the series Miracles and the movie The Magic of Ordinary Days on CBS. He also starred in the cable mini-series Into the West.

Emily Sullivan

Emily Sullivan could have succeeded anywhere, but stayed in Jericho. After the attacks, Emily deals with the possible death of her fiancé, Roger, who was in Chicago. She also struggles with the return of Jake Green, the one-time love of her life.

Mayor Johnston Green

Mayor Johnston Green is the patriarch of the town and of the Green family. After the attacks, Johnston is ill, his days numbered unless more medication can be found. As he fights to stay alive, Mayor Green leads Jericho through the disaster while trying to stem the rise of Gray Anderson's influence in the town.

Gail Green

Gail Green is the only person who knows about Jake's past. She believes in her son and will give him time to make things right, but she finds it difficult to keep Jake's secret from her husband. Faced with Gray Anderson's campaign to unseat her husband, Gail proves to be a canny politician and a formidable leader.

Eric Green

Eric Green is Jake's older brother and heir apparent to lead Jericho. Although Eric made himself the star of the family to win his father's respect, Johnston always preferred Jake. Eric's insecurity fuels both his affair with bartender Mary Bailey and his inability to stave off Gray's influence in the town.

Robert Hawkins

New in town, Robert Hawkins is accomplished at everything from politics to mechanics to survival. Hawkins says he used to be a cop in St. Louis, that the woman he lives with is his wife of 12 years and that they moved to Jericho because he wanted a quiet life. These are all lies. Is Hawkins good? Is he bad? What does he want? We won't know for a long time.

Heather Lisinski

Heather Lisinski, the grade school teacher, is a tomboy with a great sense of humor. After the attacks, she proves invaluable. Heather's main interest is science, and like any good mechanic, she knows how to make almost anything work. Anything except her burgeoning relationship with the new guy in town, Jake Green.

Gary Anderson

Gray Anderson is part owner (with Skylar Stevens' family) of the local salt mine and Mayor Green's opponent in the election. Politically savvy and manipulative, Gray exploits the attacks and Mayor Green's illness in his attempt to win the election.

Dale Turner

Dale Turner is a trailer park kid who everyone picks on. After his neglectful mother is killed in the attacks, Dale turns to the one person who was nice to him, his boss, Gracie Leigh. Socially awkward, fueled by anger and shame, Dale could become the town's greatest hero or its most dangerous villain, depending on what life throws at him.

Stanley Richmond

Stanley Richmond is a farmer and devoted brother to his hearing-impaired sister, Bonnie. After the attacks, Stanley realizes his crops are the only thing between Jericho and starvation.

Bonnie Richmond

Bonnie Richmond's parents died in a car accident that left her hearing impaired. Her only family and connection to the world is her brother, Stanley. After the attacks, Bonnie must help Stanley feed Jericho without letting him know that she's actually the brains behind the operation.
