When the smash hit comedy FRIENDS debuted in America in 1994 it quickly became the number one comedy series on network television and retained this ranking for six consecutive years. This smart, sophisticated comedy series offers a hilarious take on dating and working in the big city. For ten years a worldwide audience of millions have delved into the hearts and minds of Monica, Rachel, Phoebe, Joey, Chandler and Ross, as they explored the anxieties and absurdities of true adulthood. Over the years we've watched Ross go through several marriages and divorces, obsess over Rachel, become a widely respected professor of Palaeontology, and a loving father to two children. When we first met Rachel she was the poor little rich girl who jilted her fiancée at the altar when she realised she was more in love with her wedding presents than him. Ten years on, Rachel has grown to become a successful career woman working in the fashion industry and a doting mother to a beautiful baby daughter, Emma. We've seen the rise and fall of Joey's acting career with a highpoint being his recurring role as Dr. Drake Ramoray on Days of Our Lives.

But two things are always constant in Joey's life -  he's a hit with the ladies and he's always got the full support of his best buddy, Chandler. Chandler's on again-off again relationship with Janice drove his friends crazy, but who would've thought the love of his life was under nose all along? Monica became an excellent chef, albeit one with an obsession for neatness and order in her life. She loves to play host to her friends and is considered the 'rock' of the group. Phoebe is always true to herself in her own flaky but loveable way. She's had an incredibly tough early life but always remains eternally optimistic and makes a living as a part time massage therapist / folk singer. When the cast and crew finally called it quits in 2004, 52.5million American viewers tuned in to bid Monica, Rachel, Phoebe, Chandler, Joey and Ross a fond farewell. Now, for the first time on TEN, we'll take you back to where it all began starting Sunday December 2 at 7pm, and continuing every night on TEN.
