Georgina Lewis co-anchors Ten's Five O'clock news, a role she neatly stepped in 2007 after four years presenting weather on Brisbane's Ten News.
During her time on the weather desk, Georgie pioneered outside broadcasts for Ten News and made history with the first live telecast from the top of Brisbane's Story Bridge.
Georgie's career began in North Queensland, where she excelled in police and court rounds in Townsville, Cairns and Mt Isa. She shone as a presenter and it wasn't long before Brisbane beckoned.
Since joining Ten she's reported and presented local variety programs, travelled the country recording an Australian of the Year documentary and presented national networked bulletins from Sydney.
Georgie is an Ambassador for the Royal Children's Hospital Foundation and also sits on the advisory panel for Brisbane's Mercedes Benz Fashion Festival.
Her love of animals has forged close ties with the RSPCA and the RAAF Foster Care Program.
