Kevin Hofbauer
Coming from a military family, Kevin grew up all along the east coast of Australia.
At a young age he decided that a desk job was not exciting enough for him and discovered his passion for both acting and dance while studying performing arts while in Tasmania.
In 2007 Kevin was accepted into VCAM (Victorian College of the Arts and Music) graduating in 2009. His theatre credits include Astrov in Uncle Vanya, King Duncan/Witch/Porter in Manbeth Shooter in Action Yovan in Division Street Niels in Peer Gynt Covielle in The Bourgeois Gentleman and various roles in Invisible Stains.
Surprisingly, Kevin is a talented dancer; trained in Jazz, Hip Hop and Tap.This is Kevin’s second season of RUSH playing Christian Tapu.

Christian Tapu, 26, Constable
Twenty six year old Christian Tapu is big. Big of heart, big of body. As the middle child of eight, he assumes his place in the pecking order and will happily muck in. His warmth and open-heartedness disarms many, particularly the furrowed brows filling TR’s ranks. He’s quick to brush off an insult and thinks everyone just needs a kid and someone to cuddle.
This season – away from the speeding cars and gun fights - Christian has a growing friendship with Amber, a new intern at the operations base who also just happens to be Leon’s niece. But could this questionable pairing turn into something more?
