Since graduating from NIDA in 1985 Catherine has had a successful and award winning career in Australian film, television and theatre.
Catherine has received Australian Film Institute (AFI) Awards for her work in Secret Life of Us, Call Me Mum and a nomination for Best Actress in a Lead Role for Water Rats. Her other television appearances were roles on CrashBurn, Mary Bryant and After the Deluge.
Catherine’s film credits include her AFI Best Actress Award nominated debut in Weekend with Kate, Floodhouse and Better Than Sex. Her stage credits comprise of Martin Crimp's Cruel and Tender, Macbeth, The Crucible, Stephen Sewell's It Just Stopped and Helpmann Award Best Actress in a Lead role nominated Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?
Catherine recently finished shooting the third series of the Southern Star John Edwards’ series Tangle and is currently filming her fourth season of RUSH.

This season, recently promoted, Kerry has a new police minister to report to, and let’s say their professional relationship is a work in progress. Copping the flack from her already strained team the resistance grows as she introduces Charlie Lewis to their squad.
A tough, headstrong woman used to calling the shots and justifying every decision she makes, this season will see Kerry continue keep the peace, or at least try.
Things get personal for her when, James, her son, is targeted by murder suspects. If anything will make her hell-bent on catching the bad guys, this is it.
