ONE is very proud to have Angus & Julia Stone as our next feature artist. The last 3 years have been a whirlwind for the brother and sister duo. Their debut album ‘A Book like This’, released in 2007, glided easily in to the hearts of Australians.

It debuted in the top 10 on the national ARIA album chart and maintained a spot in the top 100 for over a year. In 2008 it earned Angus and Julia six ARIA award nominations and reached platinum sales status.

The duo with their band, have travelled around the world from the cold Scottish Highlands to the warm desert towns of the USA. They have had songs feature on TV ads from Korea to Scandinavia and have appeared at festivals throughout the world including SXSW in Texas, Edinburgh Fringe Festival and Latitude in London. All of this international touring successfully expanded the band's audience, with their MySpace plays now exceeding 5 million.

The new single ‘And the Boys’ will feature on ONE's AFL Season launch promos.  The track was co-produced by Angus & Julia with Brad Albetta (Martha Wainwright) and is the first taste of new material from their forthcoming sophomore album ‘Down the Way’. The lyrics inspire joy gained from lost love and it takes you from darkness to light with its driving drum beat, beautiful touches of 'melatron and moog' behind the acoustic guitars and dancing piano and bass. The song really highlights the power of the beauty that can be found in even the hardest of times, something footy fans understand better than most.
