Patrick Reid
Patrick is a mid-thirties anaesthetist. With patients, he's known for being very skilled and decisive, but amongst staff, he's enigmatic, wry and moody. A few years ago, Patrick's personal life unravelled and he developed a drug dependency. He's managed to pull his career back together but is still dogged by rumours. The experience has left him with a very solitary nature, a very black sense of humour... but also with a huge sense of empathy that's seen in times of real crisis. This season, Patrick's passionate relationship with Nina will test him emotionally as he struggles with his troubled past.
