MICK HOLLAND
A hard-working, fun-loving bloke, Mick spends half his time labouring and the other half making music. There doesn’t seem to be an instrument he can’t play and he is also a brilliant songwriter. And Mick has that rarest of gifts: contentment. He takes life at face value, and he knows that happiness is not in things but in people. Though his talents could earn him a fortune, Mick doesn’t hanker for anything more than he already has. His idea of happiness is a day spent with the woman he loves- Billie Proudman- and his faithful dog Rocket. When Billie and Mick plan to start a family, Mick’s forced to confront his demons and contact his estranged brother. Mick’s best mate is Billie and Nina’s younger brother Jimmy. Jimmy and Mick’s friendship is characterised by an ongoing
series of dares, practical jokes, quests, adventures and heists.
