Kenny Smyth
Kenny is a faithful resident of Melbourne's colorful west. Only five minutes from his beloved Splashdown office and a hop skip and a jump from his ex-wife and son's home, life is pretty much mapped out for him. A strong work ethic passed down from a father who always warned "if you don’t put your shoulder to the wheel you’ll end up with the arse out of ya pants".
Kenny loves his job his workmates are family and the constant change of scenery from event to event means the job never becomes boring.
Kenny is more than an average Joe, but something of an innocent, he is dignified and self assured.
He's an untouchable indomitable saint of the portaloo.
Kenny has become Australia's favorite portaloo plumber following the box office and critical success in 2006.

Jackie played by Eve von Bibra
After studying acting in London at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art – RADA, Eve began her performing career as a mezzo soprano with the Victorian State Opera, performing Gilbert and Sullivan and Bach operettas.
With a great passion for music, from opera, Eve entered into the world of 'popular music' as a founding member of the successful band The Chantoozies. As co-songwriter and singer, Eve and the band toured platinum and gold albums extensively around Australia over a 10 year period selling over 200,000 albums. She wrote and recorded in both Australia and the USA.
The Chantoozies supported top International acts such as Billy Joel, and toured with Australian favourites James Reyne, Noiseworks, Boom Crash Opera, Daryl Braithwaite and many more. Eve and the other girls in the band re-formed for the first Countdown Spectacular National tour in 2006.
Eve's love of performing has won her roles in movies including - The Big Steal, Father, telemovie Nancy Wake and tv series Time Trax (USA), The Damnation of Harvey McHugh (ABC TV), 4 Weeks to Find a Girlfriend (Channel 4 – UK) and Us and Them for the Nine Network.
Eve travelled back to London where she studied creative writing at St Martins College. She worked on various music projects, before spending a short period of time as one of Prime Minister, Tony Blair's PAs.
More recently, Eve has been working on the SBS music show Rockwiz as the Rockstar Wrangler, writing and recording music in the studio, performing gigs, working on her children’s stories for animation and other TV projects.
Kenny's Father Bill - played by Ron Jacobson
Long time performer and father to the JACOBSON BROTHERS, Ronald has acted in TV/shorts/commercials and feature films alike. A widowed gay lover, a homophobic football coach, and a serial killer out for Geoffrey Rush's blood, are but a few of his many diverse and varied roles.
Ronald's first screen performance was in Nigel Buesst's Come Out Fighting in 1972, where he played a boxing corner man. Ronald secured the role as he was, and still remains, a qualified and active boxing coach. His role in that film inspired his then young son Clayton to pursue a career in film-making.
The boxing scenes in the KENNY Feature were also supervised by Ronald and filmed at his Melbourne boxing gym. Ironically Kenny's sparring partner is in fact the star of Come Out Fighting Michael Karpaney - the circle is complete.
Ronald received an AFI nomination for Best Supporting Actor in 2007. In 2008 Ronald reprised his much loved role as Kenny's dad Bill for the Channel Ten series Kenny's World. In between Kenny's World and running his Melbourne boxing gym, he has recently been cast in Jason Gann's upcoming series Jason and the Residents - an eight part comedy series for The Comedy Channel due for broadcast in 2009.
Kenny's Son - played by Jesse Jacobson
Son to director Clayton Jacobson, Jesse has appeared in many of his father's earlier works. In the TV series Jesse reprises his KENNY feature role as Kenny's son Jesse. An avid fan of cinema, Jesse's interests include Sushi, Kendo and Aussie rules football. Jesse has also tried his hand at directing having made his first plasticine stop motion animation at age four.
Sushi Cowboy - played by Morihiko Hasebe
Morihiko Hasebe lives in Japan where he holds a prominent position as Senior Creative Director for one of Japan's leading advertising agencies. Morihiko starred in Clayton's award winning 23 minute short Tanaka, which travelled extensively on the international festival circuit. Mori's performance in Tanaka captured the attention of Japanese director.
Hiroshi Ishikawa who immediately cast him in the Japanese feature film Su-ki-da (I Love You). Mori's role in KENNY was written specifically for him. The relationship on screen between Kenny and Mori's character THE SUSHI COWBOY is based in part on the friendship he and Clayton have shared over their years of collaboration. Mori also recently appeared in the Falling Down music video for Scarlett Johansson.
