Dave
Dave is in charge of keeping the public and the law on side.
Dave Lawson has never been a television gardener before. Defining his gardening style as, “watching other people doing the hard work,” he is hoping to land a multi-million dollar deal with “yakka.”
Dave’s favourite flower is Zygopetalum Mackayi or Anthurium Andreanum, basically any flower with a long Latin name.
Getting his inspiration and design ideas from google images and Jamie Durie, Dave’s favourite gardening tool is the small shovel – the shovel that’s size falls in between a hand troul and a big spade.
Although never having done guerrilla gardening overseas, Dave believes he is responsible for introducing a noxious weed into the Amazon, and was caught guerrilla gardening at the age of 14 by his mother, who told him that if he continued guerrilla gardening he would go blind.
Dave’s favourite guerrilla gardening site to date is Woolloomooloo in Sydney for two reasons: firstly he likes spelling Woolloomooloo; and secondly because the guerrilla gardeners transformed a bare patch of concrete into the outback.
