Telstra Environment Awards

Commited To Environmental Responsibility
Saving our planet from the potentially catastrophic effects of climate change is the biggest challenge facing our world today.
Tackling global warming, dwindling resources, and threats to the environment seem such daunting tasks.
But individuals and communities can make a difference.
Many have already started.
They're the people Ten News wants to recognise and reward with The Telstra Environment Awards.
We want to hear from schools, community groups, clubs, small businesses and individuals - anyone who is "making their mark" in preserving our world.
It's not just the big picture - little things people do, really can make a difference.
We are looking for initiatives such as
- recycling programs
- water conservation
- bush and waterway regeneration
- protection of wildlife
- energy saving programs
- waste clean-up
- carbon reduction strategies
Network Ten is committed to protecting our precious environment, reducing greenhouse emissions, and ensuring a sustainable future.
We are proud to have the involvement of The Climate Group, award-winning environmentalist Tim Flannery and Telstra.
If someone is doing something good for the environment we want to know about it, and so does our generous partner in these awards - Telstra
