Chris has a bizarre beginning to his day when vet nurse Leisl asks him to work out the sex of her bearded dragon. It turns out that it’s not nearly as easy as it sounds.
After Chris deals with his dragon issues, there’s a call for help from the Australian Reptile Park. One of their koalas has just lost her second joey. She’s in pain and depressed. Can Chris find out the problem and help Meg become a successful Mum?
Meanwhile over at SASH, Nicole and Mark bring in their nine week old puppy, which they have only had for a few days. Little Kiko’s system has crashed and their baby is now in a critical condition in hospital. It’s every parent’s nightmare. Lisa needs to work quickly to keep the puppy alive.
Still at the Australian Reptile Park, 30 year old Martha, one of the Reptile Park’s oldest alligators has been attacked by a young male. Her gaping wound needs to be treated before serious infection sets in. Of course that means capturing Martha and holding her down for stitching. There’s definitely a fear factor involved with this one!
