What drew you to lifeguarding? The beach and satisfaction of being able to help people.
What's your most memorable rescue? My first rescue. I resuscitated an unconscious boy and gave him life.
What do you think are the most important characteristics of a lifeguard? Must be a team player, read the water and have great tolerance skills.
Have you ever had to be rescued? No.
If I weren't a lifeguard I'd be: A carpenter.
In my spare time I like to: Surf, listen to music and cook up a storm.
If I could spend a day with anyone dead of alive it would be: Professional surfer, Andy Irons.
