In 2010, Network Ten enters its ninth consecutive year as a major broadcast partner of the AFL and this year is set to be bigger than ever before for the Network.
With the launch of ONE, fans are now able to enjoy their favourite AFL action in High Definition and 5.1 surround sound on ONE or in Standard Definition on TEN (and ONE SD on ch12)
Throughout the home and away season, TEN and ONE will broadcast major Saturday afternoon and Saturday night games with many games shown simulcast on all three channels.
In 2010, the AFL's night of nights will return to Network Ten with the Brownlow red carpet and awards function to be televised on TEN and ONE.
This sees Network Ten continue its commitment to grow the code in the non-traditional AFL markets of Brisbane and Sydney. AFL will be telecast every Saturday night of the home and away season into Brisbane at 7.30pm regardless of whether the Brisbane Lions are competing. All Sydney Swans matches will be broadcast live into Sydney on Saturday nights (excluding those games which TEN is contractually obliged to delay against the gate).
ONE's footy show ONE WEEK AT A TIME will review all the action in the 2010 season with host Stephen Quartermain joned by panellists Robert Walls and Luke Darcy each Monday night at 9.30pm EST (Live into all markets).
BEFORE THE GAME has another massive year on TEN in 2010 with Dave Hughes, Andrew Maher, Sam Lane, Lehmo, Fitzy and Mick Molloy exploring the lighter side of footy each week. The show always provides a great lead in to the Network's Saturday Night Football and will this year run on both TEN and ONE.
2010 promises to be another monumental year in AFL and Network Ten will be there every step of the way.
