In 2009, Network Ten enters its eighth consecutive year as a major broadcast partner of the AFL and this year is set to be bigger than ever before for the Network.

With the launch of its new 24-hour sports channel, ONE, Network Ten will have a new and exciting platform to showcase AFL with games to be broadcast in High Definition on ONE and Standard Definition on TEN.

In 2009, the AFL Grand Final returns to Network Ten with the game to be televised on both TEN and ONE.

Melbourne's most popular footy show Before the Game returns to TEN in 2009. With Dave Hughes, Mick Molloy, Andrew Maher, Sam Lane and Lehmo, the program explores the lighter side of footy and always provides a great lead in to TEN's Saturday Night Football.

2009 also sees the introduction of a new AFL show on ONE – One Week At A Time. Hosted by AFL commentator Stephen Quartermain the show will be televised on Monday nights at 7.30pm (AEST).

2009 promises to be another monumental year in AFL and Network Ten will be there every step of the way.
