Hi,
I was watching it and didn't have a piece of paper handy, so when an ad came on I had to run around and find a piece of paper and a pen. If I've left anything out, can someone add it in?
Alot of tomatoes (I would say 2-3kg at a guess)
E.V olive oil (a good drizzle)
Red wine vinegar (a good drizzle)
Dried oregano (2tbsp)
1 chilli (deseeded and finely chopped)
I clove garlic (finely chopped)
Fresh basil (a few leaves)
There may have been a finely chopped onion in there but I can't remember!
Put the tomatoes in a strainer, cover with salt and leave for 15 minutes. Drain off the juice, put in a bowl with all the other ingredients.
He put it on a plate with some chunks of fresh mozzarella, some rocket and chopped extra chilli.
That's the basic sauce... I was more interested in it when he put in coriander, lemon juice, and some more oil and added it to hot pasta, because that's how I plan to use this recipe!

A little extra to Grooviechicks recipe.
I know he used all different varieties of tomatoes.
Some he sliced & some he cut up & some he left whole if small.
I dont recall him using onions.
With the dressing he always says to use three parts oil to one part acid, acid being vinegar or lemon juice.
