Shannen Doherty will reprise her role as Brenda Walsh.
Doherty is set to play the high school musical director.
Doherty starred on the original BEVERLY HILLS 90210 from 1990-1994, before she was let go from the show after a series of onset clashes.
Jennie Garth
Jennie Garth will reprise her role as Kelly Martin.
Garth will play the guidance counselor at West Beverly High.
Joe E. Tata
Joe E. Tata is will reprise his role as Nat, owner of the local hangout - The Peach Pit.
Tata, who was part of the original series that aired from 1990 to 2000 said that after shooting the scenes for the pilot episode he hopes that "lightning striking twice,"
It's uncertain if his character will remain part of the series, he said.
"The coin's in the air for me....I guess it comes under the heading of magic test: Let's see if the audience still remembers me."
Tata, 71, said he jumped at the chance to bring back Nat, whose diner was the hangout of choice for the 90210 crowd.
Nat Bussichio was "a good guy, always there to help out," Tata said. The actor is still greeted by fans of the drama, sometimes unexpected ones.
"Cops and firefighters say to me, 'I used to watch the show - I mean, my wife did, or girlfriend.' But they knew more about the show than I did," Tata said, laughing.
Tori Spelling
Tori Spelling will reprise her role as Donna Martin.
Spelling's Donna will be featured in guest-starring appearances as the owner of a hip Beverly Hills store that the new characters frequent.
