Shannen Doherty (Brenda Walsh)

But by the end of the fourth season in 1994, following a series of on-set clashes, Doherty's character was written off the show.
Now 14 years later she returns to the postcode where it all started to reprise her role as Brenda, who now works as a high-school musical director.
After her years in the hills, Doherty ventured into film, with roles such as Rene Mosier in "Mallrats" in 1995 and then in 1998 her break came again when Aaron Spelling cast her in "Charmed", in which she played lead character Prue Halliwell, the oldest of three sisters who discover they are witches.
At the end of the third season, Doherty left the show in 2001, once again there was talk of on-set clashes, this time between Alissa Milano and herself.
Two years after her departure from Charmed, Doherty hosted the Sci Fi Channel candid camera show "Scare Tactics" during its initial season only. After her stint on “Scare Tactics” Doherty, in a return to her prime-time soap roots, starred as a regular on the failed TV series "North Shore".
2006 saw Doherty starring in her own reality show, "Breaking Up With Shannen Doherty" in which she goes around doing "dirty work" for members of the public, including dumping boyfriends or telling people what their friends really think about them. The show was cancelled after one season due to a small audience.
As of date, she lives in Malibu, California. She also has a horse ranch in Ventura County, California and owns seven horses and two dogs.
